Weight:  Single 20,000 lbs., 36,000 lbs. on Tandem, Tridem 54,000 lbs., Quadem, 60,000 lbs.  5 axles 130,000 lbs., 6 axle 145,000 lbs., 7 axle 149,000 lbs., 8 axles 150,000 lbs. Over 150,000 lbs is a super load.

Width: Figure up to 16’ as a routine permit.

Height: Up to 13’ depending on routing.  Anything over 13’ 6” requires a route survey.

Pilot Car - Escort vehicle requirements.

Length: All roads over 80’ require one front if under 4 lanes and 1 rear if over 4 lanes.
Width: Loads over 12’ wide, one front on 4 lanes or less or rear if over 4 lanes. Up to 15’ then second escort is required. 18’ or wider needs police escort.
Height: If over 14 you may be required to have a high pole depending on route..
Note: Permits will state on them if they are valid for either 3 or 5 days.
 

Travel Restrictions

Travel is permitted 1/2 hour before sunrise and 1/2 hour after sunset. No weekend travel.  No night travel. All holidays no travel.  If holiday is on a Saturday, no Friday travel.  If holiday is on a Sunday no Monday travel.
