The normal hours of operation for the Motor Carrier Transport Division is Monday thru Friday 7 am until 5 pm. Closed evey Wednesday from Noon until 1 pm for staff meetings.

Note: When applying in Oregon for over weight permits you should know they have a strict bridge formula which may delay permit issuance depending on route. Also some counties require permits for travel as well so be sure to ask.

Note: Permits are valid for 10 days only.
 

Travel Restrictions

Travel is permitted 1/2 hour after sunrise and 1/2 hour before sunset Monday thru Friday and until noon on Saturdays. Continuous travel is permitted if your heavy only and should be noted on permit.
