Weight:  Single 27,000 lbs., 52,000 lbs. on Tandem, Tridem 63,000 lbs., Quadem, 72,000 lbs.  5 axles 116,000 lbs., 6 axle 120,000 lbs., 7 axle 136,000 lbs., 8 axles 201,000 lbs. Over 201,000 lbs is a superload.

Width: Figure up to 15’ as a routine permit.  16’ wide permits on major routes can be considered routine.  Over 16’ is a superload.

Height: 14’ 6” depending on routing. Anything over 16’ is a superload.

Pilot Car - Escort vehicle requirements.

Length: All roads over 90’ require one rear/chase.
Width: 2 lanes over 13’ wide, one front escort and one rear.  3 lanes over 13’ wide only needs one rear.
Height: If over 14’ 6” you need a high pole escort.
Note: Permits are valid for 5 days only but it is possible to file for a 3 day one-time extension without additional fee’s.
 

Travel Restrictions

Travel is permitted 1/2 hour after sunrise and 1/2 hour before sunset Monday thru Friday and until 12 Noon on Saturdays.
