Pilot Car - Escort vehicle requirements.
|
|
|
|
Length: All roads over 90 require one rear/chase.
Width: 2 lanes over 13 wide, one front escort and one rear. 3 lanes over 13 wide only needs one rear.
Height: If over 14 6 you need a high pole escort.
Note: Permits are valid for 5 days only but it is possible to file for a 3 day one-time extension without additional fees.

Travel is permitted 1/2 hour after sunrise and 1/2 hour before sunset Monday thru Friday and until 12 Noon on Saturdays.
